5 Days Mount Meru – Trek

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

• Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania.
• Meet your guide and have a pre-trek briefing.
• Rest and prepare for the trek.

Day 2: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut

• Drive to Momella Gate (1,500m) for registration.
• Begin trekking through the lush forest.
• Reach Miriakamba Hut (2,514m) for overnight stay.

Day 3: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut

• Continue through the forest and reach the meadow of the Saddle.
• Enjoy stunning views of Meru and Kilimanjaro.
• Reach Saddle Hut (3,570m) for overnight stay.

Day 4: Summit Attempt – Socialist Peak (4,566m)

• Start early morning for the summit.
• Reach Socialist Peak for breathtaking views.
• Descend to Saddle Hut for some rest.
• Continue descending to Miriakamba Hut for the night.

Day 5: Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate

• Descend through the forest to Momella Gate.
• Receive your certificate for conquering Mount Meru.
• Transfer back to Arusha for celebrations and rest.
